- The result of a ongoing war against an Elven Civilization since the year 91 until the present year of 250. I wonder how those two Dwarves are doing

- If you've seen one dead unicorn, you've seen 'em all.
- My mason was struck by a strange mood and created an amulet that is self-referential ("on the amulet is an image of the amulet")... out of silver and pig leather. Keep at it, fella. The next one is bound to be worth more than 2500 gold.
- Retired my fortress and came back to an eruption that destroyed my only anvil. There was a similar eruption happening in the caverns that was destroying trees, hence the "A section of the caverns has collapsed!" message.
- I haven't played much of adventure mode since the last big update. This is a conversation I had after performing on spawning to get my needs up despite not having any skills in performance whatsoever. Procedural generation has given me the warm fuzzies and I'm not sure how I feel about it.

Which is the most ridiculous way you dealt with a serious threath? Posted: 09 Dec 2019 06:29 PM PST Share your stories about happy mistakes handling dangerous beasts on DF. Mine is when i used a bridge over a cliff as the entrance of my fortress, a cyclops attacked and i called everyone in. My legendary gem cutter didn't wanted to leave a sculture outside and i didn't wanted him to die, giving the cyclops enough time to reach the bridge, then a novice macedwarf with a cooper mace from the newbie/cannonfeeder squad ran towards him but the cyclops was quicker and dodged the attack jumping off the bridge. A 20 z level fall and a frozen river was enough to kill it. [link] [comments] | ||
