    State of Game - When to play

    Hey, I'm an old player who's out of the loop.

    What's the state of the game these days? Any updates after the "Send dwarves to raid sites" interface?

    My problem was growing bored of my fortressess because raids were either lackluster or never came around, besides the usual problem of having to gimp yourself for them to even have a path to your fort.

    Are we in the big wait for the magic update right now?

    elves, magic and buffs

    ok, hear me out. elves are weak. we all know this BUT it doesn't have to be this way. with the magic update coming to think elves should be given a high magical chance (by chance mean a small percentage an intelligent creature has magical power) so they can be more fantasyesc. it also explains how they use wood when they don't wanna harm it. wood magic. (I still think magic should be a VERY rare thing that is incredibly powerful to keep some sort of majesty)
