    Hi everyone, I am back again, and this time a little early, I have done this for the last two years so I was determined not to forget!

    Just wanted to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas, albeit an early one, or late, depending on when you see this post.

    It sounds really cheesy to say, but you guys are legitimately one of the best gaming communities I have been ever been a part of. You are all welcoming, kind and very helpful, which is a bit strange, considering the nature of the game.

    We have had some awesome artwork and comics from u/Leekeegan, some hilarious posts like this as well as some outstanding video and community participation by u/KruggsmashDF. Not to mention, tons of updates and hard work from Toady, and a Steam release announcment, with graphics from u/Meph248 and Mayday! (sorry, couldn't find your Reddit username if you even have one.)

    Its been a hell of a year for Dwarf Fortress, and its not even over yet, and the future looks even brighter.

    Hope you all have a lot of !FUN! and have a very lovely Christmas!

    Dwarf fortress mod for Warsim

    So I've recently made a few mods for Warsim and at first I wasn't sure how I'd do a Dwarf fortress one as unlike games like Skyrim and Mount and Blade, dwarf fortress doesn't have standard kingdoms.

    Luckily for me there are great legends such as Cacame and Bronzemurder, so this mod is basically Dwarf fortress legends.

    You play as a ruler called King Urist McYou and rule a small humble kingdom with a little population and territorial holding.

    The Kingdoms you share the world with are

    The Creation of Ferns is somewhat of an anomaly being a dwarf kingdom ruled by an Elf

    There are also 5 bandit groups

    And several mercenary groups such as The Pit Dwarves led by Urist McKhur the Lost.

    You have a great group of staff to help you rule the realm.

    I've tried to honour Dwarf fortress as best as I can in the mod as it was a great source of inspiration for Warsim.

    How I Aquired 7 Artifact Crowns & Wearing them

    My grizzly bear man has just killed the queen of the largest dwarven fortress. The fortress is full of artifacts and I happened upon 7 crowns that I am currently wearing. There have been many dwarves try to kill me, little do they know I am a vampire, so I killed them pretty easily. The thing is, I find it weird I can wear 7 crowns at the same time. How I envision it, my vampire grizzly bear man looks a bit strange.
