Read the sidebar before posting! It has information on a range of game packages for new players, and links to all the best tutorials and quick-start guides. Posted: 05 Dec 2019 10:01 PM PST Pestrat Kusutespir a gigantic three eyed Cobra it, It has large mandibles and it undulates rhythmically. Its rose scales are oval shaped and overlapping. Beware its poisonous bite! Found this absolute joy down deep in the caverns and he managed to slip into my fortress. I sent wave after wave of militia after him but he cut through them in moments. Eventually forcing me to abandon my fortress after the deaths of something like 45 dwarves- only three remained and they weren't willing to work anymore. I sent three waves attempting to reclaim the fortress. The first was a group of hammerdwarves. They were butchered within moments of arrival. The second was a group of sword and spearman-five of them died running towards the gates but two made it inside in time to raise the bridge. Good, at least the creature is trapped outside now. They spend weeks burying the dead before going insane. The fortress crumbles to ruin. The third and current wave has been much more successful-although not without losses. The population swelled to 31 before Pestrat caught an incoming migrant wave and they lured him back inside temporarily, resulting in a net population of 14...then 9...7....4.... He finally departs and I can raise the bridge again. Over the next two years the population rebounds back to 25. Its nearly time. We have dug out a huge tunnel with multiple bridges stacked and raised along its sides. Soon we will breach the earth just near enough to him to draw him in again. I'll be damned if Squashedtheater goes down without pounding this damn snake into mush first. [link] [comments] | ||
