| How do you guys keep track of your dwarves? Posted: 06 Jun 2021 01:58 AM PDT So I recently started playing the game again (Kruggsmash binge gave me the itch) but I'm running into a problem that I usually hit after playing for a bit. I'm having trouble getting attached to my dwarves, and my fortresses in general. I literally just scrapped a fortress that was going south fast, but I don't think I even read the name of it. Now obviously I understand that this is a problem just because of the type of game DF is, so I'm taking steps to get to know my dwarves and fortress, but looking at every single dwarf and reading that big block of text describing them makes my head spin. So here's the question: do you guys actually read every dwarf's thoughts, or just a few? Also, if you only read a few, how do you determine which ones are worth looking at? I'll probably come up with my own way eventually, but hearing what you guys do would be a great way for me to figure it out. [link] [comments] | ||
