TL;DR two were-rhino best friends have WWE match, but lose something more important in the process: Friendship (and my dream of a werebeast fort)

Following the wiki I decided I wanted a werebeast fort and thought I had truly lucked out when a wererhino showed up one day

I sent a squad of naked dwarves to subdue the great beast and they surprisingly did really well! Only two were bitten and not even critically injured! The two dwarves were both young and in their 50s, and immediately after recovering were sealed into a stone room to transform

They spent a couple years alone in the dark while we worked on developing a proper space for our wererhino fort, and I was excited as the wiki explains that two werebeasts of the same species (as in two wererhinos in this case) won't attack one another and they didn't!

Between transformations the two became close friends, and in fact the only friends each other had ever had, and things seemed great as they might be isolated but at least they had friendship

But a strange transformation came over the she-dwarf Alma(nickname). This time when they both transformed they were both hostile to one another.

They tore each other limb from limb leaving pools of blood all over the small dark room. The other dwarf, Artyom, was torn to literal pieces only after also crippling Alma.

He died in pieces and when alma transformed back she was fully healed, but now the change was physically evident. She now had the appearance of a dwarf 292 years of age and one of the first of her kind, and all she could do is sit in the dark surrounded by the pieces of her only friend in life
