I really hope this subreddit keeps as chill and welcoming when we get a new influx of players for the steam release.
Finnaly filled up my moat with lava. Only took 2 dwarfs rip. Also there is a hole in the middle of the moat so half the moutain is now covered in magma oops.
Vomit Monster...*vomits*
(Bug) Adventure mode keeps crashing.
Carrying on with an SCP style fort - time to generate wealth! (2hrs from about now)
I don't suppose they're here to trade...
The 1, 2 combat maneuver.
A grey langur got too close to a fire-man and this has been the past 15 minutes of my time
Streaming Dwarf Fortress for a couple hours. Come watch! I'll add the VOD here after.
This is my best embark yet.

/r/mountandblade had a really great community up until the release of Bannerlord. From there the quality of content and the mood dropped as the readership quadrupled.

One of the greatest things about this community is its lack of gatekeeping and how we always try to help. Everyone here is so patient, chill, and kind. I hope that with a massive inflow of new people, we can keep this culture. I think perhaps we should be actively moderating out the edgelords and toxic dickheads when the floodgates open.

I suppose up until now the difficulty of the game has kept out the bad actors by having a barrier to entry. Really only those with the patience have been able to crack DF. With that barrier significantly lowered or removed, god knows what this place will be like.

I really hope we commit to being as awesome as we have been up til this point.

(Bug) Adventure mode keeps crashing.

Adventure mode keeps crashing at random. Fortress mode works fine though. Ive noticed that it seems to be tied to the save. If I save my game and load it back up it stops crashing but it will come back. Might just be coincidence though. At first it wasnt so often but now its every 5 or 10 minutes. Im using the LNP if that has any effect on it. Any ideas here?
