| The story of how those durned Gobbos turned my fort against me! Posted: 26 Dec 2020 06:02 PM PST TL;DR Old and now conquered fort had it's war animals and mercenaries defect and join the enemy when we attacked them I've posted a few times about this particular world where not only is our queen a necromancer who belongs to the goblin civilization who enslaved the dwarves for centuries, but while building a new fort my old one had an epic showdown with our captured forgotten beasts actually participating in the battle and killing thousands of goblins before they took it. After gathering an assortment of war animals, steel and candy gear, brown recluse spider warriors, and necromancers we launched an invasion to take back our great fort! It was one of the most brutal combat dialogues I've seen while playing the game. One of the last living mercenaries of this world, the rest having died of old age, defected and LED the defense against us! It gave us the win, but he bled us bad Goblins were being thoroughly massacred for the start mostly by war lions, leopards, cheetahs and such But then our own war elephants who were captured with the fort were turned against us who killed not only many animals and dwarves, but our necromancer queen who was a double agent! All but one of my legendary necromancer brown recluse spider soldiers were killed, and the survivor butchered a pair of twilight men and a twilight woman who had joined with the goblins The spiders went down taking several elephants with them at least unlike everyone else who was defeated easily. The game actually registered every single elephant death as if I lost one of my own identifying that they were still part of my civ The last two elephants were defeated by a war jabberer The new king of our civilization is a King Snake adventurer I made who is still squatting in the ruined remains of a fortress I made that was overrun by zombies after a massive battle with elves [link] [comments] |
