Am I the only one who prefers aquifer starts? Posted: 05 Nov 2019 06:54 PM PST In general, I can't think of any way an aquifer start is less beneficial or useful. Infinite water and infinite drains. Punching through takes about 1 season of dedicated work with the double slit method, or about the same with collapsing and digging with concentric rings. Freezing, cold, or even temperate climates is a simple ice channel and wall off if it ever thaws. Because of the plentiful number of ways to deal with it, I really don't see many downsides, but tons of upsides. Easy clean water for washing, hospitals, inns, temples, waterfalls without pump stacks, non stop mist generators. It's all great. What does everyone else think? [link] [comments] | ||
