Had one piece of cat soap, obviously that's the top choice for kennel material. Hoping it'll make some truly bloodthirsty war dogs.

Have you been drinking like the dwarves of old? Like the ones, you heard about in stories? Then yourself down to my stream, grab a blanket, your favourite toy forge, and relax. Today, we venture through the elven homelands as a pair of pangolin men and their bed and breakfast. Twitch.tv/daveanoid

What would complete adventure mode for you? For me, I'd like to see the side quests and the "end game" take place in a little dungeon, like a nethack dungeon but waaaay stripped down and shorter.

I would really just like enemies that I feel like I'm supposed to be fighting instead of coming across a camo of "bandits" that are just sort of chilling out and start crying when we fight.

Streaming DF - time to get the new spooky fortress properly established, I think we'll make the magma forges a priority :) (VOD will be linked in the comments after the stream is ended)

    Idea for a Succession Fortress.

    Posted: 07 Nov 2020 01:08 PM PST

    • One (1) year per overseer.
    • No permanent settling underground! Housing, industry, and entertainment must all be above-ground.
    • The goal is to have fully developed every single primary and secondary industry.
    • By 'fully developed industry,' I mean that the fortress is able to continuously apply any part of that industry. For example, if the wood industry were fully developed, the fortress should be able to therewith continuously produce chairs or beds.

I've always wanted to play in a succession fort, but it feels like the genre is dying within the community. The Bay12 forums 'community games' section very rarely has new posts, and posts die very often.

Is anyone else dying to play in one of these? I would be more than happy to start one. Let us make history!
