Mods that add in dwarven therapy? Posted: 25 Sep 2020 08:05 AM PDT In real life people are able to get over their trauma and mental illness through therapy and oftentimes just rest + time, and it's exhausting that dwarf fortress doesn't have anything like that. Whenever a dwarf gets hit with a mental illness they're basically condemned to death, I think I've had like maybe five dwarfs whos foul mood I've been able to fix, and as someone with mental illness it makes the game really really frustrating to play. I'm tired of having to exile a dwarf because they got rained on once and are now irreparably insane. There's no method for rehabilitation and it's so fucked up, ableist and unrealistic. So yeah, does anyone know of a mod that adds that in? That fixes this issue? I really thought that priests would fill this role, acting like real priests in being someone that dwarfs can talk to for comfort, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks for reading!
